The Beginner’s Guide

Twitter is one of the most popular social media platform. The messages posted in twitter are called tweets. Twitter is helpful in making quick updates and has a huge number of users like Facebook. We will look into setting up and maintenance of Twitter.

Setting up Twitter:

1. Go to the webpage http://twitter.com or one can also go directly to https://twitter.com/signup
2. Enter name, phone number and password.
3. Click on Sign Up.
4. The account will be verified through a code sent to the mobile number that was used for registration.
5. Once verified users will be able to create a username for their profile.
6. Username is important because it will be hash tagged for messages linking to a particular profile.
7. Click on Create my account to create the profile.
8. Twitter account can also be created using an email address. The email address will be verified through a link during the sign up process.
